EDII-PHBIF is a registered Section 8 company under the Companies Act 2013, funded by the Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII) and supported by the Horticultural College & Research Institute (HC&RI), Periyakulam — a constituent college of TNAU.

EDII-PHBIF provides the ecosystem critical to enabling the sustainable take-off and growth of Horti-Business startups and SMEs. Anchored on the strength of both EDII-TN and TNAU, it takes leadership in the commercialisation of available horti-business, providing strong business mentorship to SMEs, linking small holders to markets, strengthening the supply chain, and delivering quality business development services to SMEs and producers alike.

It goes beyond business training to provide key mentorship and client-tailored support to high-potential entrepreneurs and farmer cluster enterprises.
